Racedemon.com is basically mye virtual garage, If you don’t know me, my name is Fredrik Sørlie, and I am a designer, ex-racedriver and petrolhead from Strømmen, just outside Oslo in Norway.
I’m not a professional modeler, I just enjoy making stuff for racing games every now and then. In fact, it’s not even that I enjoy making it so much as I enjoy driving it. My main motivation behind making a car or a track is usually that I want the experience of driving with/on it in a sim. I do this mostly for the end result, and not so much the actual process of creating. I do enjoy the skinning part a bit though, but it’s when I actually get to fire up a car and enjoy my creation that I feel that it was really worth the hassle.
For now, I still create all my projects using Zmodeler 1.07 and Photoshop CS3. I wish to learn 3DSMax, but I just don’t have the patience to figure it out by myself at the moment. So no huge hi-poly stuff from me in the near future :)
