Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth: 96% done

I’ve been patiently waiting on numerous cossie projects over the years, but the fact is that to this day, there is still no proper 3dr cossie available for any sim that I know of. The reson is beyond me. It’s one of the all time classics, and it’s a shame that we had to wait until late 2008 before having one in Racer.
So rather than wait any longer, I decided to go for it. The attached pic is my progress since yesterday. In other words, the model will probably be done today! I will actually rush this a little in order to release a beta within a couple of days. Initial release will probably be the stock RS500, but the plan is to also release a touringcar version and a rallycross version. All with skin templates for easy skinning.
The car will probably not have a stunning interior or a super detailed model. It will however have nice high res textures to make it look sweet in screenshots. Still, it’s main purpose will not be to look awsome up close, but to offer hours of fun on the track.
I’m still looking for stuff like engine sounds etc. so if anyone would like to help, feel free to give me a shout.
UPDATE 14.12:
All the models and skins for the initial release are now done. Basically there are three versions. Road, Race and Rallycross. Each version will have several skins, organised in Raven folders.
So basically I now have 10 days to get the ini sorted ;)

En betaversjon er allerede lagt ut til Racer. Jeg jobber nå med å finpusse fysikken, samt at jeg har begynt med interiøret. Men jeg må roe ned tempoet noe nå, grunnet stor arbeidsmengde på jobb og av hensyn til familie. Så ferdig blir den når det passer sånn…

den sierraen ser rå ut, så blir den like bra å kjøre som den ser ut så blir dette en favoritt..
liker spesielt rallycross bilene du har bilde av, håper det ikke blir de eneste..
vært på utallige bakkeløp og sett \ hørt åserud kjøre den han hadde(skulle aldri byttet) men uansett dette gleder jeg meg til

Brilliant. I don’t know why the Sierra has not made it to ‘Forza’ or another racing sim. The car was hugely successful, plus they just look great.
