Toyota Corolla GT and Sprinter Trueno

Just a little taste of what’s to come. The Trueno is an updated street version of the old D1 model. Since it’s D1RDGP days it’s got an updated ini by Cosmo, awsome sounds from the rFactor Toyota Atlantic mod, a refined model and some sweet wheel and color options.

The Corolla GT / Levin Coupé is based on a brilliant low poly model donated by Chris Ijzerman. I’ve made some minor adjustments to the mesh as well as new textures. The rest is 100% identical to the Trueno, making them equal in performance. Should be perfect for some AE86 online racing :)

    I’m glad you approve of what I’ve made of it :)

    It’s a nice model and imho it looks pretty damn good ingame now. The amount of poly’s are quite close to the trueno, so now I’m trying to work out if it’s possible to cut them in half and weld them together as a Levin hatchback and a Trueno coupé :D

    FSR, nice work on the AE86′s!!! cool that we finelly will have an Levin Coupe, then you just took words out of my mouth about the cutting welding and made the Levin hatchback and a Trueno coupé :D !!! that are just awesome news!! cant wait :D

    Hi Fredrik. Nice too see your work. I see that the licenseplate on the street version is the same as your own Trueno :)
    I still admire your skinning art on the old racer d1gp cars (now present on the JDM Drift Mod on rF)

    The licence plate is indeed authentic. The skin is the first design I had on the car late in 2003.

    It’s also nice to see that my D1 skins live on in other games. I see my gfx everywhere, but is rarely credited for my work. Oh well… :P

    Ok, I think its the -04 version thats on youtube.
    Well great gfx seems to fit everywhere. I have given it some tries, but they will never be as good as the
    original once.
